  Biomedical Technician
Javon Fradiue, Biomedical Electronic Technician
Javon is responsible for maintaining important equipment such as defibrillators and x-ray equipment. To pursue a career as a biomedical technician one should have good communication skills, be able to learn and adapt to new technology and be a problem solver. 
  Clinical Information Technology Analyst
Charlie Chavez, Director of Nursing Operations
Desiree Walker, Clinical Nurse Analyst

  Clinical Laboratory Scientist
David Hora, Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Hematology Department Head
A clinical laboratory scientist plays an integral role in helping physicians determine what is wrong with the patient.  Clinical lab scientists must be detail oriented, organized and know how to read and understand the laboratory results of each patient.
  Dietary Technician
Leticia Renteria, Clinical Dietitian Dietary technicians who work in the hospital setting often start the day early, well before patients rise in the morning. They create meal plans for patients based on physician's order, balancing calorie and protein intake with the patient's nutritional needs and food preferences.
 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Emergency Medical Technician
David Bergfalk, EMT
An EMT in the emergency department (ED) assists in the initial assessment of patient medical needs, provides wound care, performs EKGs, is responsible for patient transport and stocking the department. 




 

 

 


 

  Licensed Psychiatric Technician
Byron Smith, Psychiatric Technician
Byron shares that he enjoys being able to help others during a time of great need. To become a licensed psychiatric technician, start as a certified nursing assistant and then join a licensed psych tech program within a vocational nursing program to further your education.
  Medical Imaging
Rob Cruise, Director, Medical Imaging Medical imaging professionals are the "photographers of the body." It is much more than performing ultrasounds for expectant parents; it's looking at bones, helping to diagnose digestive disorders, examining vascular systems, joints, brain tissue and more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

  Occupational Therapist
Sheila Jones-Lilley, Senior Occupational Therapist
As an occupational therapist at CHSB, Sheila works to rehabilitate patients recovering from illnesses and with disabilities that prevent them from being independent, doing things like brushing their teeth to getting to in and out of the car. 



 

 

 


 


 

  Office Coordinator
Tamara Travers, Office Coordinator, Dietary
Tamara is responsible for a wide range of duties including ordering office supplies, communicating with many other departments and reporting the monthly budget. Essential skills to succeed as an office manager in the healthcare field include computer skills, attention to detail and good communication skills.

 

 

 

 

 

 


 

  Pharmacist
Brian Amador, Lead Clinical Pharmacist
A pharmacist is responsible for dispensing the right medications to the right patients in the proper dosages. A pharmacist in a hospital must be highly efficient as patients often need medications as quickly as possible. Pharmacists receive a minimum of 4 additional years of education after college.
