Complex needs. Exceptional care.
The Children and Adult Subacute Services at
Community Hospital of San Bernardino are dedicated to patients who
have long-term, clinically complex neurological conditions. Our
teams of sub acute specialty physicians, highly trained nurses,
case managers and therapists offer excellent patient care for
conditions including congenital birth defects, head and spinal cord
injuries, muscular dystrophy and more.
Our goal is to maximize our residents'
quality of life by offering the finest specialized treatment plan,
with an ambiance that feels just like home. Our Children's Sub
acute Center is decorated in a colorful oceanic theme to bring
comfort and joy to our young residents, newborns to 21 years of
age. Our Adult Sub acute Services offers a variety of daily
activities to help keep our adult residents motivated and attuned
to day to day life.
As part of the rehabilitation program, our
residents' health care plan may include physical, speech and
occupational therapy, life activities, community and interpersonal
socialization, school participation and other developmental
activities.
